Looking for another adventure this summer for your child? There’s no need to travel to Kitchener-Waterloo for summer camp — it is available close to home! Inspiring Minds Summer Camp is licensed for children entering SK to 12 years of age, however our camp is geared more toward children entering SK to grade 3.
Choose one, two or more weeks on a daily or weekly basis and your child can spend time with neighborhood friends and meet some new ones too! All our Camp Programs are led & developed by Registered Early Childhood Educators.
Nutritious snacks & lunches are included. Summer Camp fees are due at the time of registration, only $210/week or $42/day – contact us for our payment options.

Summer Camp 2017
Week #1 – July 4th – 7th Theme: Welcome Summer
Be prepared to celebrate summer with a good ol’fashion camp out – only inside with sleeping bags, stories around a ‘fire’ and cookin’ up some s’mores! Be sure to pay careful attention for Beach Day – wear a bathing suit and be prepared to have a day of water play and building sand castles.
Week #2 – July 10th – 14th Theme: Under The Sea
Let’s explore the great undersea world! Ocean levels, wave bottles, sink and float, crab walk, Go Fish, soctopus and an Under the Sea adventure are only some of the activities during this watery week!
Week #3 – July 17th – 21st Theme: Let’s Build
Get those creative juices flowing as you create your own masterpieces using open-minded materials, like a hammer and nails, ice and marshmallows, Lego, K’Nex, boxes and blocks! Only you can decide what to build!
Week #4 – July 24th – 28th Theme: Among The Stars
Ever wonder about the man in the moon? If so, this is the week for you! Moon dust, paper mache planets, constellations and glow-in-the-dark paint are fun ways we will be among the stars!
Week #5 – July 31st – August 4th Theme: Storybook Summer
Write your own stories or comics while we explore our favourites! Dress up like your favourite storybook/comic book characters and create pieces for the costumes such as capes and masks. Get ready to use your imagination and jump into your favourite book!
Week #6 – August 7th – 11th Theme: Wide World of Sports
Get ready to get outside and have some fun! Not only will we be playing some of our old favourite sports like basketball, soccer and baseball but we will also be playing them with a twist! Put your motor skills to work, cheer on your friends and have a blast!
Week #7 – August 14th – 18th Theme: It’s a Small World
Get ready to try new things! This weeks is all about diversity! We will be making a tapestry of diversity – bring your own fabric from home and we’ll sew all of them together. Explore different traditions, give a cultural dance a try and create your own flag.
Week #8 – August 21st – 25th Theme: Adventureland
Join us for a week filled with adventure, including treasure hunts, balloon artistry, and pirate hats! Vote on an adventure of your own to take part, and go on a nature walk to explore parts of Wellesley you may never have seen!
Week #9 – August 28th – September 1st Theme: Bon Voyage Summer
It will be sad to see summer come to an end but we will only let it go out with a bang! An end of summer celebration will happen this week, along with great celebratory activities. These activities will include, but are not limited to: face painting, homemade ice cream, and water play!
