Welcome

Looking for another adventure this summer for your child? There's no need to travel to Kitchener-Waterloo for summer camp - it is available close to home! Spend time with neighbourhood friends and meet some new ones too! Choose one, two or more weeks on a daily or weekly basis.

Inspiring Minds Summer Camp is licensed for children entering SK to 12 years of age, however, our camp is geared more toward children entering SK to grade 3. Camps are led by Registered Early Childhood Educators or Educators in Training. Our Forest and Nature Camp weeks are led by a Forest School Practitioner. Morning and afternoon snacks are included.

Camp hours: 8am - 5pm
Extended hours: 7:30am-8:00am 5pm- 5:30pm

Summer Camp fees are due at the time of registration.

Inspiring Minds Summer Camp:

Children 6 years or older: $250/child/week or $50/child/day
Children 5 years or younger: $118.13/child/week or $23.63/child/day

Inspiring Minds Forest Camp:

Children 6 years or older: $260/child/week or $52/child/day
Children 5 years or younger: $122.85/child/week or $24.57/child/day

Extended hours - before and after

Children 6 years or older: $15/week or $3/day
Children 5 years or younger: $7.09/week or $1.42/day

Summer Camp 2023

Scientists of Wellesley - Forest Week

July 3rd - 7th

Join us to kick off the first week of summer as we explore and create science experiments! As we gather around the campfire, we will learn about our planet Earth, erupt a baking soda volcano and roast delicious food. This week we will take a trip to the forest and discover the science behind our outdoor world!

Dr. Seuss is in Wellesley

July 10th - 14th

“Oh, the places you’ll go!”. Join us this week as we explore the work of Dr. Seuss. As we enjoy the summer weather, we will read Green Eggs and Ham, Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can you?, and more. During the week we will create Truffula Trees from The Lorax and play matching games that relate to the book One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. .

Astronauts of Wellesley

July 17th - 21st

Summer camp is out of this world! Our Astronauts of Wellesley will travel through space this week in spaceships they create themselves, to find Mars, Neptune, Jupiter, Earth, and Mercury. Stay tuned as we learn about different planets and by the end of the week create our own solar system. What planet are you most curious about?

Christmas in Wellesley

July 24th - July 28th

Christmas has come early this year! Join us as we take a break from the summer heat and create fake snow, christmas wreaths, snow flake chains and engage in grinch day. During the week you will also get the chance to transform yourself into one of Santa’s elves.

Game Shows of Wellesley

July 31st - August 4th

Congratulations! You’ve secured a spot to play in the game shows of Wellesley. Throughout the week, our contestants will engage and compete in multiple games such as Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Minute to Win it, Jeopardy, and Don’t Forget the Lyrics. Let the games begin!

Waterpark in Wellesley

August 7th - 11th

Do you need to cool down from the summer heat? Join us this week as we take a trip to the splash pad, play drip drip drop, have a water balloon toss and go in the sprinkler. During the week we will also create water sensory bottles and engage in a sandcastle building contest.

Camping in Wellesley - Forest week

August 14th - August 18th

Who’s ready to go camping? This week we are going on a day camping trip to IMELC and the forest! Join us as we have daily campfires, take a trip to the forest and go on a hike, create our own tissue paper fires, tell campfire stories and roast s’mores!

Under the Sea

August 21st - August 25th

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live under water? Join us this week as we take a trip into the sea and create jellyfish, layers of the sea, CD fish, go on a treasure hunt and interact with ocean sensory bins.

All Around the World

August 28th - September 1st

Have you ever wondered how different countries celebrate traditions? Join us this week as we learn about how different countries celebrate birthdays, losing teeth, winter holidays, and more. During the week we will also create and hang country flags, create season jars, and learn about different occupations.
